LANDON D. THOMPSON, MD

Dr. Landon Thompson was born and raised in Idaho Falls. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, then went on to earn his medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. 

He completed his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest Baptist School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he received advanced surgical training. His areas of expertise include cataract surgery, pterygium removal, and the evaluation and management of optic nerve disorders.

Dr. Thompson is excited to bring his experience back to Idaho Falls to serve the community he knows and loves. He and his wife are happy to be back in Eastern Idaho with their four children.
